TICA Double Grand Champion Riterags James Bond |
September 14, 2008
We've been taking a break from the cat show world, the summer is simply too nice to be stuck in a show hall the entire weekend from 8 am until 6 pm both days. We've also been busy renovating the house, which is very time consuming, and going to several dog shows. We'll be back out with James and some of our youngsters at some of the fall shows. We look forward to seeing you then!

Way to go James!!!!!! Despite the fact that James was only shown for a mere 3 shows as a kitten and only 1 show as an adult for the 2007/2008 show season, this boy has become a Canadian National Award winner, placing 11th Best All Breed kitten in Canada, a Regional Award Winner coming in at 8th Best All Breed kitten in his region, Best Ragdoll kitten in Canada, and in just one adult show James managed to become the 2nd Best Ragdoll in Canada!!! We can't wait to see what this show season holds for us!

After a quiet fall of being home with new baby kittens, we headed south to Cherry Hill, NJ where James attended his first cat show. His debut in the kitten ring was terrific, taking multiple Best of Colour, and Best of Breed wins against some outstanding Ragdoll kitten competition. Purring and playing throughout the entire judging process, he even garnered a 7th Best All Breed Kitten final against some of the top kittens in TICA. We are looking forward to showing James extensively this spring and if this weekend was any indication, great things lay ahead for this boy.

On this day I set off for a the long drive to North Carolina to pick up what would become the most incredible Ragdoll I have ever laid eyes on. "Riterags Singular Senstation" is a seal bi-colour male that has completely changed the way I look at Ragdolls. At home our boy is known as Tucker, or ocassionaly we call him Tank. This kitten was worth every mile, every penny, and every hope and dream.
