...is quickly becoming one of the world's most popular breeds and it is easy to see why. This large, gentle cat is known for it's sweet dispostition, beautiful deep blue eyes, soft rabbit-like coat, and it's lovely melodic voice. Anyone who has ever spent time in the company of a Ragdoll can tell you that they are a cat like no other. "Caelestis" is latin for "heavenly", a description befitting these captivating cherubs. Through these pages we will endeavour to bring to life the world of the Ragdoll for you. On this website you will find photos and information about my own cats, the Ragdoll as a breed, and many useful and interesting links. The Ragdoll comes in a variety of different colours and patterns. There is a beautiful pattern and colour to please just about everyone, from the warmest browns and deepest blues, to the richest reds, and everything in between. Ragdolls display many characteristics traditionally attributed to dogs such as retrieving toys, loyalty to its owner, and a high degree of trainability. It is not unusual to find a Ragdoll playing a game of fetch or enjoying a romp outdoors on a leash. It is also not unusual to find a Ragdoll running to greet you, or your guests, at the door. They will follow you from room to room, flop on you, sleep with you, and love you unconditionally.
